He’s shaken his reputation as an empty volume scorer and even spent a week or two on the fringes of the All-Star debate, largely because he’s taken yet another leap as a scorer. He’s already a good defender who plays within himself on offense.

It’s not particularly bold to say that Larry II was the Cavaliers’ best player this season through January; he’s clocked the best net rating of any rotation mainstay. Of course, it’s probably unwise to expect much more from a player who’s only making $2 million per season.
